Industrium takes up the gauntlet to draw up the energy study for a new extrusion line at Amcor Flexibles in Ghent.
Amcor develops innovative, attractive and sustainable packaging materials mainly for the pharmaceutical industry. They manufacture extruded film based on PET granules. This film then goes to printing, lamination and roll-cutting services. Industrium has prepared an energy study for a new extrusion line.
Volatile organic compounds from the extrusion department are burned in a Thermo-Reactor. The hot flue gases are recovered for steam generation.
At a later stage, the EBO energy plan will also be adopted and we can compete for the construction of the EMEA Reasearch Centre that may be built in Ghent.
