Industrium again has the opportunity to help Coca-Cola keep its energy efficiency up to scratch for the 2nd period of the Energy Policy Agreement (EPA).

Coca-Cola’s Ghent production centre specializes in carbonated soft drinks and juices, packed in tins, plastic cartons or returnable bottles. Since 2016, the lines have been renewed step by step, with a constant focus on energy efficiency and energy optimisation.

Industrium works with the customer on a long list of measures, which it then elaborates into feasible measures based on data from the customer. This examination is not limited to the process, but extends to cover all utilities, mainly the generation of industrial cooling and the production of superheated water.

A study is currently underway for connecting up to the City of Ghent’s district heating network.
